We are looking for a Software Engineer to join us in "Shaping the digital future" of the energy sector.  Cegal is a leading vendor of geoscience and data-science applications and cloud-based services which work with large volumes of structured and unstructured data.

You will be helping us design and implement new features and products, maintain a vital engineering process and if you desire, talk to the end-users who use our work.   

Our software stack is based on C#, Python, Go, and Typescript.  We deploy to application-plugin environments,  desktops, servers, and Kubernetes. Of course, we don't expect you to know everything in this fast-moving field, but we do hope that you enjoy the prospect of learning new skills at work.

Who you are

  • You are solution-oriented and enjoy a dynamic work environment

We believe that our new Software Engineer identifies with the following qualifications: 

  • Min. 3 years experience as a software developer 
  • Strong competency in front-end web technologies 
  • Good knowledge in a strongly typed language such as C# or Java  
  • Experience with modern deployments involving Docker, k8s, or similar technologies
  • Cloud development experience, preferably Azure
