We are looking for candidates that will engage in managing and maintaining enterprise level solutions and infrastructure. The position will be responsible for performing technical changes within network firewall, routing and switching, across both internal and customer infrastructure.

Cloud, automation and the increased demand for information security are changing the way companies provide IT services. We are now looking for candidates that can manage, maintain and improve these services, through a combination of new technologies and smart management.

Work tasks and responsibilities:

  • Manage the lifecycle for all service requests and change request tickets through our Service Management System.
  • Acting as technical escalation point where complex and/or critical service impacting issues are identified.
  • Responsible for design, configuration and implementation of network firewall, switching & routing solutions in general, based on Cegal standards.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN and Firewall issues.
  • Testing and implementation, in accordance with Change/Release schedules.
  • Analyze complex technical issues, diagnose problems, and provide support to other technicians with issues.
  • Reviewing High Level Designs, etc. produced by the Technical Sales Design team and contributing to Low Level.
  • Participate in various meetings (Vendor, Advisory Board’s, Customer)
  • Liaise with external service providers to resolve incidents and complete service requests.
  • Produce reports, proposals, technical documentation, and user guides as required and ensure other team members are fully trained in the procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of client environments, operating systems, standard applications, and infrastructure solutions

 

Qualifications:

  • Education within Information Technology or similar. Extensive documented competence may compensate for formal education.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in network related roles
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience providing support to enterprise level solutions and infrastructure

 

Personal qualifications:

  • Preferred Checkpoint Certification - CCSA
  • Preferred Cisco Certifications – CCNA, CCNP
  • Good understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices, specifically Change Management
  • Ability to deliver a high level of quality and customer experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Curious and fast learner, particularly with regards to new technologies

 

Formal requirements:

  • Master the English language, both written and verbally
  • Good written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

 

Other beneficial qualifications:

  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certified
  • In-depth knowledge of core Microsoft technologies, and Cloud services
  • Working knowledge of SSL certificates
  • Scripting knowledge and experience would be an advantage
